I have done this 12 week challenge before and had some good results but I took the foot off the pedal and the weight came back out. This time I started this program hating almost everything about myself and I knew I had to change. So with the determination to make a life change I followed what ever Gulsen Krastic asked me to do when it came to my diet. Week one you need to cut out pasta and rice and bread. (Carbs yummy carbs) I thought im not sure i can do this but its only for 8 weeks then i can slowly eat it again. I’m not going to lie the first two weeks was the hardest. (Break the mold) but as the weeks went on I have really enjoyed swapping rice for cauliflower rice and pasta for zucchini and sweet potato wraps for bread.

I have always loved my training but I needed to make sure I pushed myself even harder. So with the support of Denis Krastic, Moey Marei, Daniel Calafiore and Kim Farfoud (omg kim your warm ups) thank you for helping me smash it. I now feel fitter and stronger then I ever have before. So Thank You!

Thank you both so much for everything the last 3+ years. My time training at Burn has been amazing. From getting in shape for my wedding, to completing miss muddy with a great group of girls, to doing a Saturday Super Session the day before my waters broke!! I have enjoyed every single minute spent at Burn and can honestly say I’m 100 times more fitter now in my 30’s than I ever was in my 20’s. I have the trainers and the amazing people I’ve trained with to thank. Everyone is so motivated and supportive it’s makes working out so much fun. I’ve made some really great friends that I’m going to miss heaps but I’ll be sure to drop in when I’m back in Melbourne for a cheeky session. If anyone’s ever up North East Victoria feel free to drop by. (Plenty of great wineries) Denis and Gulsen you two are the driving force and heart of Burn and I wish you all the best for the future. X

As I was scrolling through some old photos and some more recent ones from my family holiday I just couldn’t believe how far I’ve come and transformed myself. I’m so proud of my achievements and decided to share this. Photo on the left was taken November 2013 when my youngest was 3 months old. I decided it was time to change my lifestyle, after a number of medical issues. Not only did I need to make some changes for the sake of my health but to be a positive role model for my daughters, I wanted to make sure I was around long enough to see them grow up. I bite the bullet and became a member at Burn Boxing and Fitness. The photo on the right was taken a few days ago. I never would have pranced around in my bathers as the person on the left. Not only has my health improved but my confidence has sky rocketed. Lost a few kilos, gained a few tatts. Oh and made some amazing new friends along the way at Burn Boxing and Fitness.
